What is the benefit of hiring Kingsway Organizing?

Benefits of being organized go beyond a neat and tidy home.  Whether it is your own home or that of a loved one going through a life transition, I will work with you to help you decide what items to keep or what can be set aside for sale, donation or gifting. I will then re-organize those items what you enjoy, use and need in a way that is right for you. You will experience less stress and have more time to do what’s important for you. I help busy professionals, families, seniors downsizing and homeowners preparing to move or unpack to a new home.

Do I have to prepare before a consultation?

No. Please do not tidy up or clean your home before our appointment. It is important to see your home as it is and the issues you are dealing with so I can help you better. There is no judgment and I am here to help you!

How long are the appointments? 

For best results, organizing sessions are scheduled between a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 6 hours.

How long will it take?

The answer depends on the project or services required.  A free one hour in home consultation is offered to assess your individual needs and goals.  I will do my best to offer an project estimate but it will depend on your specific needs in the space, your availability to work with me on the decision process.

What about confidentiality?

As a standing member of the Professional Organizers in Canada I am required to uphold the Code of Ethics.  All client information is kept private and a confidentiality waiver can be provided.

I need to get my home ready for sale.  Can you help with staging?

If you are planning on selling your home it is essential that it show well in order to get top dollar.   Getting started well in advance is recommended as it will help make this process easier.  I can help declutter, depersonalize and stage your home using your belongings.  Staged homes have been shown to sell faster and also at a higher price.

I don't have time to help my parents as they prepare to downsize to a smaller home.  Do you offer assistance in this area?

I strive to make the process of downsizing an easy transition.  With compassion and patience I can help sort, declutter, donate and suggest ways of selling items that family members no longer need. 

What are your cancellation policies?

I kindly ask for 24 hours notice of any cancellations. 

What form of payments do you accept?

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cheque or e-transfer.

Are you insured?

Yes. Kingsway Organizing is fully insured and bonded.

What area of the city do you service?

Service areas include Toronto, Etobicoke and Mississauga.
